With 80% of mobile users admitting to checking their devices within 15 minutes of waking up each morning… what do you think will be the first thing the majority of people check? You guessed it Facebook notifications!

For Google Ads, a sensible budget for most industries is £10 per day. So, OUCH, that’s £3,650 a year. And, oops! You’ve already blown your advertising budget. Plus, that doesn’t even take into consideration the cost of setting up the campaigns, which could be at least a 1-2 day job.

Now if we look at Facebook, you can set up various different types of ads (which aren’t just text but incorporate video, images and emojis!) and limit your spend to a £2.50 per day budget, that’s £912.50 a year. Plus, your set up costs, 2-3 hours. That’s plenty left in the pot for different types of advertising and paying skilled people to set up and monitor them for you.

Undoubtedly if your business has a larger advertising budget Google Ads can be considered as part of your strategy! However, if you are limited by budget, or your company cash flow is tied up elsewhere, Facebook provides a fantastic route to market.

  • Average Cost per Click (CPC)
  • Average Conversion Rate (CVR)
  • Average Cost per Action (CPA)
